George Green Trainees Host Law Taster Day

Last week our trainees; Rosie Milian, Matthew Martin, Rachel HumphriesAnna Papadopoullos, Samuel Evans and Rachel Sharp hosted a law taster day at our Cradley Heath office for the law students at King Edward VI College.

The day involved the students taking part in a variety of tasks and activities from a range of law areas and gave the students an insight into the day and the life of a solicitor. Throughout the day they had the opportunity to ask our trainees about their experiences within law and take part in a Q&A session with our CEO, David Stevenson.

Feedback from the students who attended the Law Taster Day was all positive and included comments such as:

“The experience overall has been amazing. I’ve become aware of so many options available for the future.”

“Very enjoyable and helpful with my decision of law. Lovely people, very easy to talk to.”

“Excellent experience. It was really fun and informative. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.”

Training Principle and Private Client Partner, Louise Axford commented: “The Law Taster Day has been a huge success, proving beneficial to both the students and the George Green Trainees. We understand that gaining experience within law has been difficult recently due to the restrictions caused by the Pandemic, so it has been wonderful to get student back into the office to learn from our knowledge and experiences.”
