Melanie Young

I am a Chartered Legal Executive specialising in Family Law.  I qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Legal Executives in 2008.

Having worked locally in family law for many years, I have experience in advising clients on a wide range of family issues, from the beginning of a relationship, preparing Cohabitation Agreements and Pre-Nuptial Agreements and also when relationships break down, advising on Separation,  Divorce/Dissolution and negotiating to resolve finances and matters relating to children.  Where matters cannot be resolved by agreement, I represent clients through the Court process.

I am a member of Resolution which is an organisation for family professionals who work in a non-confrontational manner, narrowing issues and working towards settlement in an amicable way.
