Emily is an associate in the firm’s dispute resolution team, specialising in contentious trusts and probate work.
Emily deals with a wide range of contested claims concerning the validity of wills; construction of wills and/or trust deeds; financial provision claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975; breach of trust, professional negligence claims arising from defective trusts, wills or poor legal advice; and beneficial interests in property, including estoppel claims.
Emily also has experience dealing with claims made by personal representatives of estates to obtain a deceased’s data from their Apple iCloud.
Emily is recognised for her high-quality work and positive client feedback and is well regarded amongst her peers. She is fully ACTAPS qualified, and a member of the Contentious Trusts Association (“ConTrA”).
