Alex Mansfield

Overview of Alex’s practice

Alex is a specialist Associate Family Solicitor with over 8 years of experience of advising clients in the West Midlands area. She advises clients on all aspects of family law including divorce, financial and children matters. Alex also advises clients in respect of protective injunctions (non-molestation orders and occupation orders); both applying for these injunctions and defending them.

Alex understands the emotional aspect of the work she does and supports clients through what can be a difficult time to help to resolve their issues in a pragmatic and considered manner. 

Alex is a member of Resolution First for Family Law. Resolution encourages a non-confrontational approach to resolving family matters, an organisation for family professionals who work in a non-confrontational manner, narrowing issues and working towards settlement in an amicable way.

Recent experience

Alex regularly advises clients in respect of complex children matters including finding of fact hearings and supports clients throughout court proceedings all the way to final hearing.

Alex has recently advised clients in complex financial proceedings including but not limited to:

• Applications for maintenance pending suit
• Legal services payment orders
• Contempt of court
• Third party disclosure orders

Alex is also experienced in advising and supporting clients in respect of pre and post nuptial agreements.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys running, reading and baking. Alex loves to travel and enjoys visiting new places. She particularly loves trips to Cornwall and to Greece.
