The George Green Corporate Team, led by partner Sarah Ward, has advised the Vendors of Tamworth headquartered specialist tooling supplier, ITC on its sale to the Irish precision-engineering multinational ATA.
ITC is a manufacturer and supplier of cutting tools, headquartered in Tamworth and its acquisition by ATA increases ATA’s global footprint in this sector.
The purchaser, ATA, is a global precision engineering company manufacturing, supplying and distributing cutting tools to leading industrial companies from 11 facilities around the world. ATA is headquartered in Cavan, Ireland.
The George Green team advising on the deal was led by partner Sarah Ward, supported by Matthew Martin, alongside Amy Brokenshire in employment and Fahmida Ismail in property.
The George Green team were also supported by accountant Mike Kay, a long-standing adviser to the ITC Vendors.
Sarah Ward comments “We were very pleased to assist the vendors on the sale of ITC, which they had built up since 1991, consequently turning the company into the very successful manufacturer and supplier of cutting tools that it is today and making it an attractive and strategic fit for the acquisitive ATA ”.
ATA were advised by independent UK law firm Burges Salmon.
