The George Green LLP Corporate Team led by Philip Round and Sarah Ward have recently acted for Refined Brands on their successful acquisition of Turtle Doves (Not Just Gloves) Limited.  The recent acquisition helps Refined Brands to continue to build its growing portfolio of ethically based online retailers as well as enhancing its green credentials.  The Corporate Team were assisted by partners Fahmida Ismail (Property), Amy Brokenshire (Employment) and James Bird (Commercial).

Refined Brands is backed by a number of investors including the Icelandic bank Kvika and Souter Investments. The George Green team first supported Refined Brands on its initial acquisition of Celtic Sheepskin & Co, a Cornwall based company specialising in slippers, knitwear, footwear and outerwear all made from natural materials, that are kind to the environment.

Based in Shropshire, Turtle Doves specialises in turning pre-loved cashmere jumpers into accessories including gloves, wrist and ankle warmers and beanies.  The Turtle Doves accessories brand focuses on its upcycling of donated or discarded material.
