A team from George Green LLP took on the South -West Coastal path along the Jurassic Coast on Saturday July 1, raising money for the law firm’s charity of the year, Russell Hall Hospital’s Baby Bereavement Campaign.

The Firm’s fourteen strong team had an early 6 am start as they took on the challenge of walking 21 miles along the country’s Jurassic coastline. The expedition kicked off in Swanage and ended some hours later at Lulworth Cove – the last person completing the challenge in just over 12 and a half hours!

David Stevenson, George Green’s Chief Executive commented: “we are very keen as a firm that when it comes to supporting each other and giving back that we walk the talk; or in this case hike the talk! This was no walk in the park either -challenging terrain meant for 21 extremely hard miles . Undertaking the walk was a great way to come together as a joined up, supportive team whilst also raising some money for our chosen charity. Suffice to say, whilst the challenge was hard work, we certainly had some fun along the way. The subsequent aches and pains were certainly worth it!”

George Green LLP has appointed the Baby Bereavement Campaign as the firm’s charity of the year for 2023 in support of our colleague Mell and her family following the devastating loss of her baby George last summer.
