George Green supports Black Country Women's Aid

Staff at leading law firm George Green LLP have been raising money to help purchase food and other much needed essentials for the service users of Black Country Women’s Aid which will be distributed to vulnerable individuals and families who find themselves in a time of crisis due to domestic abuse.

Black Country Women’s Aid is an independent charity which has supported survivors of abuse and exploitation in the West Midlands for 30 years.

Richard Port, Associate Family Solicitor at George Green LLP, who works closely with many domestic abuse organisations commented “I am a keen supporter of domestic abuse organisations and an advocate inside and outside of court, for individuals who have faced difficulties as a result of domestic abuse. Such victims come from all walks of life and it is important that we help others when we can. I have voiced my opinion heavily that businesses and the government should be doing more to help victims of domestic abuse and just promoting on platforms that you will help victims when you can isn’t enough. Actions speak louder than words. I am proud to be part of George Green LLP, where when we say that we do the best for our clients and help the community around us, we actually do it.”

David Stevenson, Chief Executive at George Green LLP commented “Our mission is to make a difference to help clients succeed .Whilst doing that we are keen to make a difference in the wider community .I would like to thank our staff for continuing to help us do this ”
