George Green Raises £117,600 for Free Wills Month Charities

George Green LLP has taken part in the Free Wills Month offering members of the public aged 55 and over the opportunity to have their simple Wills written or updated free of charge by using participating Solicitors.

Legal Executive, Robbyn Pole in the Private Client team at George Green LLP, raised a staggering £117,600 of future income for the Free Wills Month charities. The charities supported by Free Wills Month work for a variety of causes and include RNLI Lifeboats, Mind, NSPCC, Age UK, Stroke Association, The Royal British Legion, Marie Curie, National Trust, Guide Dogs, Prostate Cancer UK and more. Claire Pottinger, Partner and Head of the Private Client team commented “I am thrilled by how much money has been raised for these worthwhile charities through the generosity of our clients and Robbyn’s endeavours and am pleased to confirm that we will be supporting the scheme again in 2020.”

An up to date Will written by a solicitor ensures your wishes are respected. It also avoids difficult decisions and legal complications for your loved ones. Free Wills Month allows you to provide for family and friends and leave a gift to your chosen charities too. A gift in your Will costs you nothing now but can make a difference for years to come.

The campaign has now closed but to take part in the next Free Wills Month taking place in March 2020, visit https://freewillsmonth.org.uk/
