George Green LLP donate over 170 gifts to children in need

Staff at George Green LLP have donated over 170 toys for children at The Black Country Women’s Refuge, who might have otherwise gone without a gift this Christmas.

Yesterday, colleagues at George Green spent time wrapping a variety of gifts for children of all ages, including books, board games, jigsaw puzzles, dolls, toy trucks, teddy bears, gift sets and more. All of which had been collected and donated by the staff. These gifts will be given to the children of families currently being supported by The Black Country Women’s Refuge.

BCWA offer a range of support for children and young people who have been affected by relationship abuse, domestic abuse in the home; rape and sexual violence, and child sexual exploitation.

This activity was co-ordinated by Family Law Associate Richard Port, who works closely with the refuge, and Administration Officer Annalisa Tanner.

Annalisa commented “I am so proud to have been a  part of this donation. This activity will not only help to brighten the Christmas of local children in need, but has also bought us closer as a team. I am always blown away by the generosity of the staff at George Green and would like to say a huge thank you again to everyone who donated to such a  worthy cause.”

Richard commented: “I couldn’t be more prouder to be part of George Green LLP. The whole firm have got behind this initiative from donating, to wrapping presents wearing Santa hats listening to Christmas hits. The firm is a leading example of giving back to the community and really helping others in times of need. When George Green LLP say they are going to do something, we really mean it”.
