George Green expands Dispute Resolution team

George Green has continued to grow its Dispute Resolution offering with the hire of solicitor George Gwynn.

George has joined from a well-known specialist dispute resolution firm in the West Midlands, having previously trained at that firm with George Green Associate Liam Owen.

George has specialised exclusively in dispute resolution since the outset of his career in 2016. He accepts instructions on behalf of both claimants and defendants in a wide variety of matters, including breach of contract claims, insolvency related matters, business and shareholder disputes, and construction disputes.

George’s appointment follows hot on the heels of that of solicitor Emma Barton, who trained at the Firm, and joined  the team in June.

George Gwynn commented “I am very glad to be joining such a strong litigation team. The firm continues to go from strength to strength, despite COVID-19, and I am excited for what the future holds.

Neil Williams, George Green’s Head of Dispute Resolution, said “The Legal 500 confirms our status as one of the leading litigation teams in the West Midlands. George’s appointment builds on this reputation as well as bolstering our capabilities”.

Chief Executive David Stevenson added “If we are to deliver on our mission of making a difference by helping our clients gain a competitive edge, then we need the best of the best on the team and we are fortunate in this respect to have attracted to the firm a lawyer of George’s calibre.”
