George Green LLP is proud to announce that CEO David Stevenson successfully completed the gruelling Jurassic Coast Challenge on Saturday 17 May 2025, raising vital funds for the firm’s Charity of the Year, Compton Care.
The ultra-distance hike covered 37 miles of the iconic Jurassic Coast, with nearly 1,700 metres of elevation, taking participants through some of the UK’s most breathtaking coastal scenery. The route included notable landmarks such as Corfe Castle, Swanage, Lulworth Cove, and the world-famous Durdle Door, before finishing in Weymouth.
David undertook the challenge to support Compton Care, a charity providing palliative and end-of-life care for people living with complex and incurable conditions. The cause is close to the hearts of many at George Green LLP, and David’s efforts have already helped raise significant awareness and funds to support the charity’s important work.
Speaking after the event, David said: "The Jurassic Coast Challenge was physically demanding but incredibly rewarding. The scenery was spectacular, and knowing that every step was in aid of Compton Care made it all the more worthwhile. I’m very grateful for all the support I’ve received from colleagues, friends, and the wider community."
George Green LLP is continuing its support of Compton Care throughout 2025 with a series of fundraising activities and events planned by staff across its offices in Cradley Heath, Sutton Coldfield, and Wolverhampton.
