George Green supports Leapgate Activity Centre.

Midlands law firm George Green LLP has recently chosen the charity it will raise funds for during the course of 2019. After consulting with its staff, George Green has decided that during 2019 it will raise funds to support Leapgate Activity Centre (“Leapgate”).

Leapgate is a recently established charity aimed at providing much needed educational and vocational training and support to adults with learning disabilities.

The vision at Leapgate is to build, operate and expand a facility capable of delivering activities for adults in the Worcestershire area. These activities will be constantly evolving and wide ranging, examples being animal care, catering, crafts, horticulture, woodworking and indoor sports.

George Green LLP and its staff are holding events and taking part in various activities throughout the year to raise money for Leapgate.

David Stevenson, Chief Executive George Green said “I am delighted that we have chosen this year to support Leapgate Activity Centre. The extent of our success in any year in helping our chosen charity is that its work resonates with the people we work with. This is why we ask staff to nominate a chosen charity and then take a vote on the matter. We are very much looking forward to a great year working with this worthy charity”.

John Handley, Chairman of the Trustees of Leapgate said “We are hugely appreciative of the support and enthusiasm of the George Green team in choosing the charity and reflects not only on their desire to excel in their field professionally but also a drive to put something back into a great cause in the local area.”
