George Green’s corporate team have advised the shareholders of Staffordshire based Accutronics Ltd on its sale to NASDAQ-listed group Ultralife Corporation in a deal worth £7.6million ($11.0 million).

Based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Accutronics Ltd. is a leading independent designer and manufacturer of smart batteries and charger systems for high-performance, feature-laden portable and handheld electronic devices. The company primarily serves the portable medical device market throughout Europe.

Ultralife Corporation serves its markets with products and services ranging from portable power solutions to communications and electronics systems. Ultralife has operations in North America, Europe and Asia. Accutronics provides the ideal platform for development of the Ultralife business in both the European and the medical markets.
