Latest industry research confirms George Green’s “top tier firm” status.

This Autumn has once again seen the publication of the latest edition of Legal 500, one of the leading Law Firm Directories, which benchmarks law firms using its market based research model.

The 2018 edition of Legal 500 has confirmed the status of George Green as one of the West Midlands leading law firms.

The latest published Legal 500 research sees both George Green’s leading Corporate & Commercial and Dispute Resolution teams confirmed as being at the top of the pile – with both being awarded a tier one ranking.

Corporate Partners Paul Bennett and Guy Green are each awarded the accolade of “Leading Individual “as is Dispute Resolution Head and Partner, Neil Williams.

Legal 500 notes market feedback on the Firm as saying that it is a “good quality, very professional firm more than able to hold its own in substantial commercial disputes against larger firms.

The researchers quote feedback received on Neil Williams as confirming that he ‘brings a calm, measured and realistic approach to his cases.’ Fellow litigation partner Morgan Rees is singled out as a bright, well-organised, hardworking and conscientious litigator who maintains a good command of the detail of his cases.

Partner and head of family Mark Vandaele is described as an 'excellent technical lawyer.'

Partners Claire Pottinger (Private Client), Tim Lang (Employment), James Coles (Real Estate Litigation) Philip Round (Banking and Finance) Kevin Styles, Alex-Jayne Lowe  and Paul Woodman (all Commercial Property) and James Lowe (Health &Safety) are all mentioned in the directory whilst Paul Kettle is also singled out for praise.

David Stevenson, Chief Executive of George Green commented “at George Green we believe that Clients Are Really Everything which means putting clients at the centre of our business by finding out how we can best give them a competitive advantage and then, vitally, tailoring what we do so that we deliver on this. It is our clients who set the benchmarks for us to match up to and the expectations that we then do what it takes to exceed. It is an important part of our service promise that we do what is said on the tin and I am delighted therefore with the latest Legal 500 research which suggests indeed that we are doing just that.”
