Financing
Start-up Loans: A Government backed scheme to provide low cost unsecured loans and mentoring to entrepreneurs of all ages. (This is administered by BCRS in the Black Country).
BCRS Business Loans : Provides loans (usually on a secured basis) from £10k - £150k to businesses who have been unable to obtain loans from traditional sources.
Select Business Finance: An independent adviser on all types of commercial finance (particularly factoring and invoice discounting) to businesses in the West Midlands, Shropshire and beyond.
Minerva Business Angels: A Business Angel network formed in 1994 with investor syndicates in Warwick and Wolverhampton.
Prince's Trust: The Enterprise Programme run by The Prince's Trust provides financial and practical support for young people aged 18-30 who are unemployed and looking to start up a business.

GOV.UK: The stripped-down replacement for Business Link as the Government’s main source of on-line business advice – provides links to advice on funding opportunities by business sector and location.
Manufacturing Advisory Service: Grant aided subsidised consultancy support for manufacturers with regard to strategy, business processes and innovation – free to manufacturers employing up to 250 employees.
Business in You: A new website highlighting sources of support for start-ups.
Growth Accelerator: Is a unique service designed to help high growth businesses achieve their full potential.
Wolverhampton Business Solutions Centre: Information on resources for start-ups and existing businesses.
SP/ARK: Business incubation facilities for start-ups in the creative and ICT business sectors in the West Midlands, provided by the University of Wolverhampton.
Wolverhampton City Council: A team of advisors providing business start-up support.
Access 2 Business: Support and training to businesses (including start-ups), job seekers and those looking to become self-employed.
Intellectual Property
UK Intellectual Property Office: Detailed guidance on intellectual property.
