George Green LLP are raising money for Birmingham Women's Hospital, Woodland House Appeal.

The employees of George Green LLP are raising money for Birmingham Women’s Hospital by virtually walking/running the length of the country over the month of May.

20 members of the Firm are tracking their individual walks/runs and then adding them together to reach a combined target of 812 miles, which is the equivalent of travelling from Land’s End to John O’Groats. All money raised will go to Birmingham Women’s Hospital, Woodland House Appeal.

Every year the hospital cares for over 2,000 grieving mums and dads who have lost a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death. The Woodland House Appeal is raising money to build a brand new, purpose built centre away from the main hospital. Woodland House will allow expert bereavement midwives to hold heart breaking conversations away from the busy maternity ward, and will give grieving families a place to spend time together in a safe, secure and serene environment until they are ready to face the world again.

Chief Executive, David Stevenson, commented “Great cause; great effort from everyone involved and, what’s more great fun! Delighted if you feel you can support us.”
