George Green LLP’s finance team has recently advised award-winning bridging lender, Ortus Secured Finance, on the provision of a £4.6m loan secured over two residential investment properties in central London.

The borrower’s commercial facility with a high street bank had expired and the bank was not prepared to renew the facility as it was strategically withdrawing from certain markets.  The borrower was therefore under pressure to repay. Ortus provided a bridging loan which would give the borrower time to source a long-term solution from a private bank.
