Sam has an established background in assisting with the administration of estates and preparation of Wills, Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney, having initially worked at firm in Worcestershire with regards to private client matters before studying the Legal Practice Course and a Masters in Law.
Sam graduated from the University of Worcester with a first class LLB law degree in 2019, and completed a Masters in Law with the Legal Practice Course at BPP University in Birmingham in 2021.
In October 2021, Sam joined George Green’s private client team and later became a paralegal in the department with a particular focus on trust matters. Sam started his training contract with George Green in September 2022 working on private client matters including:
- Wills and administration of estates
- Lasting Powers of Attorney, registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney and Deputyship Orders
- Dealing with trusts, including changes of trustees and HMRC’s Trust Registration Service
Sam worked in the dispute resolution team from March 2023 to June 2023 to gain experience of the contentious side of private client matters (particularly disputes relating to wills) before returning to the private client team.
Outside work, Sam enjoys travelling and reading. He is currently learning Norwegian in his spare time.
