Tim Lang

Tim Lang is a Partner at George Green LLP. Since joining George Green he has built up a team which is regarded as one of the leading employment teams in the West Midlands. Tim also qualified as a data protection practitioner in 2017.

The Legal 500 notes Tim’s “ability to provide very constructive advice in complex areas” . Chambers & Partners describes Tim as "absolutely outstanding" and says "he understands business and the law and he's very pragmatic."

From 2013 to 2023 , Tim was a fee paid Employment Judge in the South East Region sitting at the Watford and Reading hearing centres.

Tim acts for employers and senior employees in a wide range of employment law matters including, in particular transfers of undertakings, unfair dismissal, discrimination and breach of contract. He also advises regularly regarding data protection issues including subject access requests.

He gives regular seminars to local businesses and regularly features in the local media.

Tim is married and has two sons and a daughter. Outside work, he enjoys fitness training, golf, cycling, watching rugby and football and holidaying in Cornwall.
