Joanne Batham

Joanne (Jo) has over 30 years’ experience working in the legal profession. Jo joined George Green LLP in 1985 and has seen significant growth and change with the firm and indeed the Corporate Team, evolving to where it is today. On leaving school Jo started her work life as office junior and has since worked in several departments within George Green, has been PA to three senior partners and has been a member of the corporate team since 1997.

Jo works as a paralegal in assisting fee-earners on transactions. As a paralegal she has worked on a vast number of corporate transactions and her roster includes M&A transactions, corporate reconstructions and joint ventures. Jo enjoys taking on a company secretarial role and working on the many ancillary documents involved in larger transactions.

Experience

Supporting the wider Corporate Team on:

• A significant pre-sale reorganisation of The Dudley Taylor Pharmacies Group
• Acting for the shareholders of Dudley Taylor Pharmacies on its sale to Avicenna
• Acting for the Stourbridge based Murray Family on the merger of the C G Murray pharmacy business with PCT Healthcare

Jo is married with two grown up sons and enjoys reading, cooking and spending quality time with family and friends.
