GEORGE GREEN MAKES SIGNIFICANT PARTNER HIRE

George Green is pleased to announce that it has appointed James Lowe as a Regulatory and Licensing Partner in its Dispute Resolution Team. James will be based in the firm’s Cradley Heath office.

James specialises in regulatory and licensing matters including health and safety, Coroners Inquests, food safety and hygiene, healthcare, environment, water and waste, animal welfare, product liability and product recall, trading law, appealing regulatory statutory notices, advertising and promotions, pricing, and road traffic and transport. He also deals with a variety of licensing applications and hearings. Clients describe him as “professional and personable with a deep understanding of the sector”.

James Lowe commented “I am delighted to have joined George Green at a significant time for this area of work. There have been substantial changes recently that have significantly increased the risk for organisations in the field of regulatory compliance.  I am looking forward to further developing the firm’s capabilities in this area providing high quality proactive legal advice on regulatory investigations and proceedings.”

David Stevenson, Chief Executive at George Green, remarked “We know from our clients that dealing with the myriad of Regulatory Law issues, many of which carry criminal sanctions and the breach of which can have severe adverse consequences for a business is not for the faint hearted. In this area, when issues arise, clients require solutions rather than options; clients look for lawyers that do not just know the law but are able to apply it with a degree of pragmatism and they only get that from specialists who know their stuff and have been around the block a few times. In this respect James is certainly “the name, the man”!

Stevenson continued “I have admired James’ work from afar for some time and I am absolutely delighted to have got him signed up as part of the George Green offering – put simply, a fantastic addition to our growing partner team.”

George Green LLP is a leading full service law firm and recognised as such in both Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners. Our lawyers make a difference by helping our clients succeed. We have offices in Cradley Heath and Wolverhampton.
